Overview
Dental implant is implanting an artificial tooth root in the bone of upper
or lower jaw to replace missing teeth. Once the implanted root is stabilized,
an artificially made crown functioning as teeth can be placed on the top of
the implant.

Process of procedure
- Under circumstance that your teeth is already removed and gum is ready
for an implant,
- Provide Local anesthesia
- Implant the artificial tooth root
- Wait until the implant is stabilized (could take a week or longer)
- Place the artificial tooth on the top of the implant
Expected duration of hospital stay
- Generally the procedure takes about 30 minutes to an hour.
- From implant to putting on crown may take a week or longer
- Hospitalization is not required.
Post-operative care
- Apply ice pack on the cheek area if needed
- Recommended to have soften food for few days
