Hanyang University Medical Center
Since the establishment in 1972, the Hanyang University Medical Center has built multifaceted and specialized medical networks such as Hanyang University Guri Hospital, Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, International Hospital, and Hanyang University College of Medicine, and it is creating a new Korean medical wave based on such synergies. Their International Healthcare Center is striving to provide the best medical services to both local foreign residents and overseas visitors for treatment by establishing 24 hours medical service system with English speaking doctors and nurse who are exclusively charge of international patients and also with English and Russian speaking coordinators. In addition, it maintains close relationships as medical care partnerships with Embassies and foreign companies in Korea, Overseas Koreans Foundation, Asiana Airlines, all the Korean communities in each country, and Domestic/Overseas Agencies. It also offers foreign patients comfortable medical services by direct billing services with affiliated international insurance companies.

Works as a multidisciplinary treatment system for effective treatment and practices the best treatment methods such as minimally invasive surgeries through robotic surgery, installation of the latest radiation therapy equipment Novalis TX, and operation of Stem Cell Treatment Center.

Minimizes radiation damage to normal tissues around tumors by adjusting to the change of the shape seen from multiple angles in 3-dimensions through the radiation beam
◎ Robotic Endoscopic Surgery Center
Conducts robotic surgeries and endoscopic/laparoscopic surgeries in earnest for cancer patients as well as various other patients requiring invasive surgeries
◎ Cardiovascular Hybrid Surgical Center
Is equipped with a hybrid operating room with state-of-the-art vasography equipment and biologically clean operating room, and is able to diagnose and perform procedure and surgery at the same time when seconds count for emergency patients who are in life threatening situations
◎ Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation center
Is equipped with 10 biologically clean rooms, cell cultivation room/stem cell freezing room, and state-of-the-art stem cell separator

Aliya SeoAt Hanyang University Hospital, I met the most caring doctors and nurses. My Mum got seriously ill while on holiday in Korea from Australia and was in the ICU for more than 1 month. The doctors did a good job to help her recover. Their caring attitude towards me and my mum really helped me cope with that difficult situation. I am forever grateful Prof Lee, Dr Song and Dr Ji as well as the nurses in the ICU. The only reason why I rate 4 star is the absence of an English interpreter.
